Permits are only available from the secure online purchase site in the link below.

Please select a membership relating to current year only. Membership now runs from 01 Jan - 31 Dec each year but please note season open and close dates as per NRW byelaws and do not fish on Club waters out side of these times.
Please ensure you upload a portrait profile photo that clearly depicts you (passport style) as failure to do so will result in membership being removed.
You will receive an electronic confirmation which will serve as your permit for day and week permits - please carry this with you, either on a phone or printed, at all times when fishing. Season permit holders will receive a photo membership card through the post within 2 weeks of joining. Please carry this when fishing at all times - until this arrives, the electronic or printed receipt should be carried.
Please also ensure your card details are maintained on the Clubmate site as cards that have expired cannot be used to purchase permits.

NOTE - to ensure liability insurance protection is in place, only fully paid up members of the Club for the current year can participate in organised Club events - this includes all competitions, bank maintenance days, river surveys, etc.

The Club does not own any lakes but organizes several lake competitions. The Club no longer offers a specific lake membership only to fish lake events - this changed in 2022 meaning that to fish the Club’s lake competitions, a full membership is now required.

ATAC / National Trust Joint Permit Discount Scheme

Aberaeron Town Angling Club are pleased to partner with the National Trust Llanerchaeron Mansion Estate to offer a joint permit discount scheme. ATAC members present their permit at the NT office at Llanerchaeron to qualify.This provides local and visiting anglers alike access to approximately 4 miles of continuous pristine sea trout fishing on the lower Aeron.

Please note that when joining both associations, different rules apply to each stretch of water. It is important that all anglers follow the rules applicable to the stretch of water being fished at the time. As the stretches of water join to form one continuous stretch, it is important that anglers carry both permits if planning to move between stretches.
